[PART 6] CINNABON Protein Smoothie (Under 400 Calories)

cinnabon protein smoothie

Before you get all excited, this is the diet-Cinnabon smoothie version. Come on guys, you should know that this blog only features healthier recipes (mostly, anyway…if you’re feeling indulgent…have a peep at this one).

That said, it’s pretty darn fantastic!

You’re getting a yummy smoothie that’s high in protein for under 400 calories (did you know a classic cinnamon roll at Cinnabon weighs in at a whopping 880 calories?!!!).

That’s crazy!

To tell you the truth, I’m obsessed with Cinnabon. I pretty much walk past the shop every day, and that absolutely mouth-watering buttery, sugary, cinnamon-y aroma gets me every time. You’d probably advise me STOP torturing myself so much, but unfortunately my grocery shop is right next door ☹ Pick ‘n Pay really chose a bad spot in Canal Walk (but Cinnabon really chose a clever one haha!).

Anyway, this smoothie channels all the great flavours of cinnamon rolls without overindulging too much…

And in the process, you’re getting:

  1. 25 grams of protein

  2. 7 grams of fibre

  3. Lots of Potassium

  4. Calcium!

Plus, cinnamon has been shown to balance blood sugar levels – so you’re practically winning at life here.

Watch the video below to see what a piece of cake this smoothie is to make (or should I say, a piece of cinnamon roll ) 😉 Sorry that was lame…

Not much to a smoothie to be honest:

  1. You collect all the ingredients…
  2. And then you wizz away!
  3. And once everything is blended you gulp it down ;P

Pretty simple 🙂

Here’s a quick video to simplify the process:
