Peach and Mint Summer Sangria

Peach and Mint Summer Sangria

There is nothing as festively “summer” than a good sangria!

Trust me – after making my Peach and Mint Summer Sangria, I was instantly overwhelmed with longing for outdoor picnics. A big jug of orangey-pink liquid, lots of ice, and colourful fruit. You can’t do any better…especially with rose wine!

I admit. I am not a fan of rose wine – perhaps in my student days drinking cheap and overly sweet rose wine at Bohos…but can’t say I enjoy the taste much anymore.

That was CHEAP wine…and needless to say I don’t think one should ever compare imitation to GOLD.

I had a really good bottle of rose in the cupboard, and I just thought WHAT A SHAME it would be to go to waste. I’m pretty confident I just found my new favourite summer drink ? ?

A bonus, is that one bottle of wine multiplies into DOUBLE the amount of liquid so it’s a great idea if you’re having people over for a braai ?

I would advise you NOT to put ice into the mixture itself – as this will dilute the drink. Instead, fill your glass with ice and top with the Summer Sangria.
